Personal Leadership Stories Beyond Business

I love hearing personal success stories…especially around entrepreneurship and business. That’s why for the last 7 years I’ve been attending the High Tech Prayer Breakfast at Cobb Galeria in Atlanta.

For those who don’t know, HTPB is the largest recurring technology event annually held in Atlanta. It’s a ‘who’s who’ of Atlanta Tech movers and shakers in technology and the presentations are ALWAYS spectacular.

The best part about these talks is the “complete self” perspective of the speakers. It’s not just about their business success, but their personal and spiritual side as well. The event is a Christian organization, but like a good Andy Stanley book, it’s an event that everyone can get something from…regardless of religion.

This year we’ll have the CEO of VMware, Pat Gelsinger as our presenter. I can’t wait. It’s going to be amazing. Especially if it’s anything like last year’s presentation. Here’s a video of Ronnie Andrews, last year’s HTPB keynote, the self-proclaimed ‘Forest Gump of the Human Genome Project’. This talk is absolutely gripping:
